  • Calculer AB : Dans le triangle ABC , on utilise le théorème de Pythagore:
    AB*=AH*+BH*
    AB*=15*+20*
    AB*=225+400
    AB*=625
    AB= √625
    AB=25
    La longueur de AB est 25cm (*= au carré)

    Explications étape par étape :

    Nous allons jouer avec le théorème de Pythagore

    1) Dans le triangle AHB rectangle en H nous avons : AB²= BH²+AH²

    AB² = 20²+15²= 625 donc AB = 25 cm

    2) Dans le triangle AHC rectangle en H nous avons : HC²= AC²- AH²

    HC² = 17²- 15² = 64 donc HC = 8 cm

    3) Périmètre ABC = AB + BC + AC = AB + (BH+HC) + AC = 25 + 28 + 17 = 70 cm

    4) Aire du triangle ABC = (BC x AH)/2 = (28x15)/2 = 210 cm²
